The celebrated press photographer Dr Erich Salomon (Berlin 1886-Ausschwitz 1944) was forced by the rise of National Socialism to settle in the Netherlands early in 1933, where, as an émigré, he captured the political and cultural protagonists of the Depression years. The edition brings together unpublished and forgotten images by Salomon and his son from their years of exile in The Hague and London.
