Series Monographs on Dutch Photographers, Volume 6
Authors Solange de Boer, Maarten Kloos
This book celebrates the life and work of one of the foremost Dutch architectural, interior and product photographers, Jan Versnel (1924-2007). His images evolved in direct response to the object. Above all he sought to make the object or building real and legible. Since his clients included the leading contemporary designers, his work documents the achievements of the progressive Nieuwe Bouwen movement during the Reconstruction of the Netherlands after World War II.
