A companion to Paris Photo 2011, Mutations echoes the events of the fair including public dialogues, roundtable discussions and performances. It contains contributions from leading international figures, and addresses, among other issues, the social, political, cultural and scientific roles of photography as well as its impact on gender, portraiture, new technologies and the moving image.
