Wall texts for Fomu’s 2024 edition of .tiff, a platform for emerging Belgian photography initiated by the museum. The exhibition takes a fresh look at the possibilities of photography and puts the viewer in touch with what drives emerging image-makers. The 2024 group comprised Romain Cavallin, Elise Dervichian & Lina Wielant, Romane Iskaria, Ksenia Kuleshova, Catherine Lemblé, Nathan Mbouebe, Angyvir Padilla, Marcel Top, Marens van Leunen, and Laure Winants. Their work was on show at the Zuiderpershuis in Antwerp from 18 June to 18 August 2024, and in the Brakke Grond in Amsterdam from 7 September to 6 October 2024.
